H.E.Vahagn Afyan, Ambassador of Armenia to India met with Ms. Alpana Dubey, Head of the newly established Division for Southern Europe at the Ministry of External Affairs of India, whose portfolio also includes cooperation with Armenia.
Ambassador Afyan, referring to the agreements reached in Washington aimed at ensuring peace in the South Caucasus and the significance of the initialing of a peace treaty, emphasized the importance of enhancing Armenia–India engagement more actively to further develop bilateral friendly ties and mutually beneficial cooperation.
During the meeting, issues within the bilateral agenda, including organisation of upcoming reciprocal visits, as well as cooperation within multilateral formats were also discussed.
